The management consultants Fons Trompenaars and Charles Hampden-Turner identified the seven
dimensions of culture. They carried out questionnaires to people from different
countries and based on the results
achieved they concluded that differences are not random, but predictable. This means that each culture has its own way of thinking and its own values and
beliefs.
The model also highlights that one culture is
not necessarily better or worse than another; people from different cultural backgrounds simply make different choices.
